This foundational module introduces the guiding concept of cultivating from the core – the practice of aligning your creative work with your internal values, intuition, and lived experiences. You’ll learn how to ground your brand in self-awareness, explore exercises for personal reconnection, and experience two live demos – making connections between mindset, message, and design. You’ll see how key questions can uncover creative direction and directly inspire your brand’s visual expression.
Module 1
In this module, we’re shifting focus to brand messaging – the foundation of how your brand communicates. Here, we highlight the guiding role copy plays in your overall brand creation process, explore website copywriting frameworks, and navigate how we can use AI to support us in our writing process.
Module 2
This module explores the visual side of storytelling and how imagery shapes your brand’s emotional presence. We’ll discuss how to communicate through visuals, examine real-world examples of narrative photography and branding, and close with a candid demo where we curate a gallery for Odëssa, showing how imagery further supports your message.
Module 3
Here, we break the module down into 4 lessons, where we explore inspiration, colours, fonts, and logo conceptualization. Each lesson includes a candid demo for hands-on application and is designed to help you see my process in real-time, as I source inspiration and create visual elements for the Odëssa template. We’ll walk through the process of creating a colour palette that captures your brand’s emotion and uncover how type choices shape the tone, positioning, and perception of your brand. We’ll finish off by conceptualizing a logo for the Odëssa template in real time.
Module 4
In this module, we bring all elements together to create a cohesive digital presence. You’ll learn how to choose a website platform and template that supports your goals, design intentionally with your audience in mind, and build a visual experience that mirrors your brand’s emotional identity. We’ll review real website examples, highlighting distinct design choices that feel intentional, and finish with a candid demo, where we walk you through the process of creating a wireframe for the Odëssa template.
Module 5
In this final module, we’ll revisit the key insights that have shaped our process, highlight important takeaways, and introduce additional resources that will support you on this ever-evolving brand journey.
Module 6
This space exists as a continuation of your learning – a home for deeper exploration, ideas, and honest conversations that build on what we’ve explored together so far. From time to time, you might find a new video demo, candid discussions with fellow artists, or maybe even a written reflection. Essentially, it’s an ongoing collection of new insights and resources designed to expand your understanding of brand expression in a way that feels guided and ever-evolving.
Module 7+
In this candid conversation, I sit down with brand designer Seana Bailey from Lady B. Creative as we discuss why creating your own branding assets can feel so personal – and why intention and strategy matter more than aesthetics alone. We explore Seana’s journey into design and her approach to building brands with longevity in mind. We talk about conceptual typography, how to make meaningful customizations, seek out real-world inspiration, and present ideas through tangible, story-driven mock-ups. This conversation is intended to give you insights into crafting thoughtful brand reveals by focusing on meaning, strategy, and storytelling – making your brand presentation feel lived-in and yours.
