Intention
With nearly a decade of experience documenting love stories across landscapes and seasons, Evelyn wanted a brand and website that not only reflected how much she’s grown as a human, but one that would also hold space for her creativity as an artist while simultaneously resonating with the kinds of clients she felt most connected to – those who value intentionality, storytelling, and artistry.
Rooted in trust, connection, and individuality, she envisioned a brand that would inspire others to tell their story in a way that felt true to them, guided by emotion and personality. She wanted to attract clients who appreciate design and who approach their wedding day as a meaningful, personal experience.
The intention behind our collaboration was to create a fully custom brand and website that felt high-quality yet human. It was about stepping into a more elevated, aligned version of her business without losing the soul of it – a brand experience that looked elevated but still felt intimate, poetic, and grounded in feeling – an extension of who she is as a person, inviting others into her world as a photographer.
Process & Approach
Evelyn’s love for all things vintage (French plates, worn-in books, imperfect old homes, and the romance of a well-set table) became a beautiful jumping-off point. We imagined a brand that felt cultured but not flashy, elegant but approachable, and artful without trying too hard.
Through our creative direction, we landed on a look and feel that blends refined editorial design with a soft, poetic warmth. The typography and layout were kept classic and spacious, letting her imagery take up space, featuring many of her more dramatic landscape-driven shots that tell so much of the story. The brand palette includes cool-toned earth-inspired colours that complement the natural tones found in her images. We also created custom toile-like textures and illustrations for that lived-in and nostalgic approach.
Rather than leaning into a traditional “luxury” feel, we created something more nuanced, what I’d describe as slow, with a quiet richness and natural beauty. A brand experience that invites you in, makes you feel something, and mirrors Evelyn’s own approach to storytelling: honest, artful, and always from the heart.
