The Intention
Catherine reached out looking for a new website that would provide her clients with a warm and inviting online experience. She was also looking to showcase her brand in a way that felt personal yet elevated and professional at the same time. With that, she wanted her website to feel like an extended version of her portfolio – blending together the idea of a spacious art gallery with a character-filled scrapbook.
The Process & Approach
Transitioning from Flothemes to Showit, we transformed her website and built her a new home in under two weeks using our Nora Showit website template as a base. In terms of branding, Catherine sourced her colours as well as typography, and designed her new and improved logo using our insights from the brand reflection questionnaire – evoking feelings of openness, romance, and sophistication.
During our initial brand exploration process, we decided to incorporate handwritten love notes throughout her website (written by Catherine, herself) to bring in elements of personality while still feeling refined and beautiful. Finally, we customized many sections – and offered copy support – to better represent the unique aspects of her brand and business offerings.
